About the Opportunity
SysMind Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in McLean, VA. This is a hybrid role that requires expertise in Java/JEE frameworks, Docker, and Open Shift or AWS managed Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building Micro Services based solutions and a strong understanding of relational databases, including Postgres and MongoDB. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop applications using Java and Spring-Boot
• Participate in the full adoption of modern software engineering & Delivery practices
• Work on enhancing our offerings with emerging and traditional technologies
• Collaborate with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Apply TDD, BDD, and Static Code analysis to improve quality and reliability of delivery
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Design and Development of Applications using Java and Spring-Boot. Additionally, you should be able to independently perform all developer duties from Analysis to deployment to post-production defect fixing. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, as well as experience working in Agile, or a Scaled Agile organization, knowledge or experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, and preferred strong experience on MongoDB, RDBMS.
