Junior Software Engineer - Java Automation

About the role

This role will be on a fast-moving software engineering team supporting a microservice ecosystem with several UIs. Project management is done using feature driven development. The team is highly collaborative, and engineers are encouraged to help drive system design. The candidate will be working closely with the mission and interacting with stakeholders.

What you'll do
• Develop and maintain Java micro-service web applications.
• Work closely with the tech lead on technical decisions and product roadmap.
• Interact with the customer to resolve issues and propose new features.
• Support testing and deployment of production applications.

Qualifications
• TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience with design, debugging, and problem solving with Java.
• Experience with RESTful web applications.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience interacting with MongoDB or similar database technology.
• Experience with automated testing.

3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 additional years in place of a bachelor's degree.

The pay range for this role is: 135,000 - 150,000 USD per year (Annapolis Junction, MD).
