Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented freelancer to help us with a large-scale, ongoing project. The task involves finding the best quality photo for individuals listed in a Google Sheet, uploading it to our WordPress site, and pasting the photo URL back into the Google Sheet. With over 80,000 names to sort through, this project will be ongoing until completion.
The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, a keen eye for high-quality images, and a good understanding of image resolution and clarity. Familiarity with WordPress is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Photo Research: Search online for a high-quality photo (best resolution available) for each individual listed in the Google Sheet.
2. Quality Assessment: Ensure the photo has good resolution and clarity, avoiding low-quality or pixelated images.
3. WordPress Upload: Upload the selected photo to our WordPress site.
4. Google Sheet Update: Copy the photo’s URL from WordPress and paste it into the corresponding row in the Google Sheet.
5. Repeat Process: This is a long-term project, and the process will continue until all names (80,000+) have been completed.
Requirements:
• Web Research Skills: Ability to efficiently search for and identify high-quality photos.
• Understanding of Photo Quality: Knowledge of what constitutes a high-resolution image versus a low-quality one.
• WordPress Experience: Familiarity with uploading media and managing content in WordPress.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in uploading and linking the correct photo to the Google Sheet.
• Time Management: Ability to handle repetitive tasks and work efficiently on a long-term project.
• Good Communication Skills: Open to feedback and able to ask questions when clarification is needed.
