Job Description
At Cognizant North America, we are looking for a talented React and Node.js Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital software team, you will work on high-demand applications and contribute to the success of our clients.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing web applications using React.js and Node.js, as well as experience in enhancing the user experience of web applications by integrating React components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop web applications using React.js and Node.js
• Enhance the user experience of web applications by integrating React components
• Debug and fix React and Node.js applications
• Implement standard processes for front-end development
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure application performance
• Ensure the quality of code and maintain code standards
• Manage source control and version control for applications
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to connect applications to backend services
• Monitor application performance and take corrective measures
• Implement security measures to protect data and applications
Qualifications:
• Frontend development (JavaScript/React)
• Backend development (JavaScript/NodeJS/Express/SQL/Kafka)
• Limited CI/CD pipeline maintenance (Gitlab/OpenShift/Helm)
• Story Sizing
