C4 Technical Services is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Principal Architect and the Product and Quality teams to design and build features in Ruby/Rails. In this role, you will participate in software design meetings and collaborate with the Product Team to analyze user needs and inform technical requirements. You will also mentor other engineering colleagues in software engineering principles and techniques.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of software development practices and concepts, including Object-oriented programming, Web application technologies, Web application security, and testing best practices. You must be able to communicate technical concepts and ideas to other engineers and to non-engineering members of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing features for Zipnosis' suite of applications.
• Participate in, and sometimes lead, software design meetings and partner with the Product Team to analyze user needs and inform technical requirements.
• Collaborate with quality engineers to create and deliver test plans including automated user testing and integration specs to meet quality objectives.
• Mentor other engineering colleagues in software engineering principles and techniques.
