Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CMS Engineer specializing in WordPress and Shopify, with a strong focus on performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing, customizing, and optimizing CMS-based websites for speed, security, and scalability. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to ensure seamless user experiences and maintain best practices in web development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Optimize website performance, including speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO best practices.
- Implement caching strategies, image optimization, and CDN configurations for faster load times.
- Enhance website security through best practices, firewall setups, and vulnerability patches.
- Develop custom themes, plugins, and integrations for WordPress and Shopify.
- Optimize Shopify storefronts for fast checkout, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, server issues, and code inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to improve UX/UI and website functionality.
- Maintain and improve the underlying infrastructure, including hosting environments and databases.
- Stay up to date with the latest CMS trends, security updates, and web technologies.
