We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Test / QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process for our restaurant technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, test case development, and quality assurance methodologies. You will work closely with our development team to ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality and user experience.
Your role
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive regression test cases to validate new and existing functionalities across our restaurant technology platforms.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Participate in test case reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall product quality.
• Identify, document, and report software defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Conduct thorough manual testing to verify system integrity following code changes and updates.
• Analyze test results, generate insightful reports, and provide recommendations to enhance software quality.
• Ensure compliance with software testing best practices and industry standards throughout the QA process.
• Lead and mentor junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and tools to improve the efficiency of our QA processes.
Your skills and experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA processes.
• Proven experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps testing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
• Maestro or equivalent mobile application testing tool.
• Qtest or any equivalent test case management tool
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools like JMeter.
• Proficiency in setting up and using simulators/emulators for testing purposes.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $83,600-$179,000. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
