Key Responsibilities

Shopify Development:

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes from scratch using Shopify Liquid, JSON templates, and sections

Implement custom logic and sections based on project needs

Work on Shopify Plus stores, including checkout customization and custom user account pages

Frontend Development:

Build responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Tailwind

Excellent knowledge of Shopify GraphQL & REST API

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first designs

Optimize for SEO, speed, and performance in multi-language, multi-currency Shopify environments

Stay updated with latest browser native APIs and Shopify Store API updates

Backend Development:

Develop custom Shopify APIs for frontend integration

Work with Node.js, NPM, SQL & MongoDB

Manage authentication & authorization tokens

API & Integration:

Integrate third-party apps and services with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs

Customize and troubleshoot app integrations as per business needs

Performance Optimization:

Improve site speed through asset management, lazy loading, and optimization

Implement SEO best practices for Shopify

Version Control & Deployment:

Manage version control using Git

Streamline deployments with Shopify CLI tools or Theme Kit

Collaboration & Problem-Solving:

Work closely with designers, marketers, and backend developers to translate business needs into technical solutions

Debug issues using Chrome Developer tools and continuously improve code quality

Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

Strong experience with Shopify Liquid, Shopify Online Store 2.0

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), Tailwind CSS

Experience working with Shopify APIs, GraphQL & REST APIs

Solid understanding of SEO, asset optimization, and site performance best practices

Hands-on experience with Git and Shopify theme deployment tools

Ability to integrate and customize third-party Shopify apps

Excellent communication skills in a collaborative remote work environment
