Job Description
We are looking for a skilled WordPress front end developer with some design experience to assist in building pages for local service businesses (primarily in the home services industry) and eCommerce websites.
You’ll primarily be working with the Kadence WordPress Theme and WPBakery to create visually appealing, high-converting web pages that align with brand guidelines and business goals - service pages, product pages, and blog articles.
Must showcase your portfolio when applying so we can see your work.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive, user-friendly pages on WordPress (primarily Kadence theme and WPBakery)
- Customize existing themes and templates to meet client needs as necessary
- Optimize pages for SEO, speed, and mobile responsiveness based on our guidelines
- Ensure branding consistency across designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve layout or functionality issues as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience with WordPress, Kadence Theme, and WPBakery
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and conversion-focused design
- Ability to create clean, modern, and professional layouts
- Knowledge of basic HTML & CSS for minor customizations
- Experience with SEO best practices (preferred but not required)
- Reliable communication and ability to work on an as-needed basis
Bonus Skills:
Experience with WooCommerce
Familiarity with other page builders like Elementor
