Job Description
We are seeking an experienced web developer to build an e-commerce website, most likely using WordPress (but open to Shopify if it suits better). The site will include various pages and features such as a landing page, subscription functionality, influencer integration, and multi-language support. Below are the specific tasks and timelines expected for this project:
Scope of Work:
Landing Page:
Framework: Bootstrap and WordPress.
Design: 2-3 days, Development: 3-5 days.
Integration with Mailchimp for pop-up and Google Analytics.
E-Commerce Backend:
Built on WooCommerce plugin (if WordPress).
Subscription page with WooCommerce integration.
Shopping cart functionality and user accounts: 1-2 days.
Influencer Integration:
For each influencer, generate a unique pop-up using Mailchimp.
Develop referral/affiliate tracking using a plugin like Referrer or AffiliateFlow.
Expecting 10 influencers initially: 2 days to set up.
Pages to be Developed:
About Us Page: Design (2-3 days), Development (2 days).
Science Page: Design (3 days).
Subscription Page: Design (2-3 days), Development (1-2 days).
Icons and Micro-features:
Influencer icons (microsite within the login) and animated illustrations (if needed).
Multi-language Support:
Initial version of the site in English. Additional language versions will take approximately 1-2 days per language.
We’ll need seamless integration for our influencers' content to be available in multiple languages.
Other Requirements:
Hosting with GoDaddy (VPS server).
Familiarity with Figma for design handoff.
Integration of Google Analytics and Mailchimp.
Additional Information:
Expected overall design time: 40 hours.
Subscription page: 20 hours for design and setup.
Other custom design and development tasks will depend on the final choice of platform.
