Job Title: Windows Server Support Engineer
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Patching and maintaining Windows servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshooting server connectivity issues, CPU, disk space, RDP, and other problems.
• Monitoring server health and generating compliance/vulnerability reports.
• Documenting key issues and root causes.
• Installation and configuration of server OS.
• Server decommissioning.
• Handling tickets for incidents, tasks, and change management requests.
• *Requirements:**
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems from 2008 to 2022.
• Knowledge of deployment tools like WSUS and SCCM.
• Understanding of server hardware from Dell, HP, and Cisco UCS.
• Awareness of automation using PowerShell.
• Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
• Basics of Windows Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in virtualization technology (VMware, VCenter).
