We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to create a Welding Table Price Calculator as a web app and embed it into a landing page. The calculator must pull data from an existing Google Sheets spreadsheet and dynamically display pricing based on user inputs.
The ideal candidate should have experience with Google Sheets API, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress development, including custom plugins or shortcode-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a Web-Based Calculator
Create an interactive price calculator that takes user inputs and displays real-time pricing.
Ensure the calculator is fast, responsive, and user-friendly on desktop and mobile.
Google Sheets Integration
Connect the calculator to our existing Google Sheets file using the Google Sheets API.
Ensure the calculator fetches and updates values in real time from specific cells.
WordPress Embedding
Implement the calculator as a shortcode or custom plugin that can be embedded into a WordPress landing page.
Ensure compatibility with WordPress themes and page builders (e.g., Elementor or Gutenberg).
Performance & Security
Optimize API calls to avoid delays and rate limits.
Secure the integration to prevent unauthorized access to the Google Sheets file.
Testing & Deployment
Test the calculator across different browsers and devices.
Deploy the solution with proper documentation for future updates.
Required Skills & Experience:
