Job Description
We are looking for a WordPress Editor with expertise in managing and optimizing blog content while following SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for uploading, organizing, and structuring blog posts, implementing content workflows, and optimizing keyword distribution and internal linking for better search visibility.
This role requires experience in managing large blogs, working with Yoast SEO or Rank Math, and developing structured processes for content organization and publishing.
Key Responsibilities:
Format and publish blog posts, ensuring proper structure and readability.
Optimize headings, meta descriptions, images, and URL slugs for SEO.
Implement internal linking strategies to improve navigation and ranking.
Ensure all content follows SEO best practices using Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
Develop a workflow for content approvals, edits, and publishing schedules.
Reorganize and optimize the homepage blog section for better visibility.
Regularly update older content to improve search rankings and relevance.
Analyze content performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience managing a large blog (100+ articles).
Strong expertise in WordPress, including page builders.
Experience with Yoast SEO or Rank Math for on-page optimization.
Ability to implement structured workflows for content management.
Knowledge of Google Search Console and Analytics for monitoring performance.
Attention to detail with strong editing and content structuring skills.
Familiarity with basic HTML & CSS for minor content adjustments (preferred).
