WordPress Web Developer with front end design capabilities for a two website project
Overview:
We are a small, US-based business embarking on a rebranding project, and we are seeking a skilled web developer to partner with us in creating two, new WordPress sites. The new sites will be launched under new URLs designed according to our established brand guidelines.
We have page mockups, the written content, header images, graphics and other assets and there is some design work to be done, including edits to our mockups. They need some work and we are seeking a partner that can take what we have, quickly understand what needs to be done, and add their design suggestions and edits. We want a partner that is a mix of a very seasoned WordPress developer with front end design skills and that can execute efficiently.
We value a highly communicative, collaborative provider that brings positive energy, is creative, and is available to start immediately.
As a professional services firm, our primary focus is an informational site showcasing our services as well as to recognize revenue by selling workshop seats to training events.
Key Project Deliverables:
- Visually Compelling Design: Craft an engaging and visually appealing website that embodies our brand identity.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Improve our online visibility and search rankings.
- Event Management: Develop an events calendar to organize workshops and facilitate participant registrations.
- E-commerce Integration: Set up ecommerce for online ticket sales for our workshops.
- Responsive Design: Ensure the website is fully responsive for optimal user experience on all devices.
- Lead Generation: Create a form to collect information from potential customers for follow-up.
The second website: we manage a non-profit foundation and need a new website for it.
This site accepts donations.
Qualifications:
- Highly communicative problem-solver that welcomes feedback and appreciates close collaboration.
- Is immediately available for the project.
- Proven experience in WordPress development and UI design.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with e-commerce solutions.
