• The Client is seeking a skilled Java Developer with Python expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Python, SQL, AWS concepts, and Spring Boot. This role requires on-site presence in McLean, VA from Day 1, and vendors are responsible for ensuring candidates' relocation and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java (Java 8 and above) and Python.
• Implement and optimize SQL queries for database operations.
• Work with Spring Boot to develop microservices-based applications.
• Utilize AWS cloud services for scalable and secure applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Java
• Python (MUST HAVE)
• SQL
• Spring Boot, Java 8, AWS Concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $57.87 - $59.98 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
