JOB DESCRIPTION:
•We are seeking an experienced and creative WordPress Web Designer/Developer as a freelancer to work on as needed project basis.
• Actively collaborate with internal teams on web projects through the design, development and deployment cycles.
• Strong creative and design skills including the ability to work from concept to project completion on WordPress websites, landing pages, and web applications.
• Create user interfaces from wireframes to prototypes to finished digital product with focus on user experience.
• Develop cross-browser compatible responsive front-end interfaces using WordPress, Drupal, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP as well as frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated expert skills with WordPress development and design, and ability to hand code HTML and CSS.
• Develop cross-browser compatible responsive front-end interfaces using WordPress, Drupal, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP as well as frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation
• Experience with industry-standard tools including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Bonus: Strong knowledge and understanding of SEO principles
• Bonus: Skilled in Google Analytics and ability to analyze and give suggestions on site optimization
• Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
